Gerry Nolan is the President,
Founder, and only stockholder, of Orlando Venture Capital, Inc. (incorporated in Florida on March 29, 2001).
During the last decade, he has served the Orlando Community as Vice President
Investor Relations at the Economic Development Commission of Mid-Florida as well
Vice President of Management and Community Programs for the Orlando Regional
Chamber of Commerce. He was recruited, and served in the late 90's, as the
Executive Director of the Central Florida Citizens for Public Transportation
(the light rail advocacy group for Orlando). Currently, he is active in real
estate development in Daytona Beach and Ocala Florida.
Past recipient of the Orlando Business Journal's Top 40 Under 40 award and is a known and respected quantity.
Possesses an unmatched network within Central Florida's business, political, and
academic communities. Known for his ability to
communicate powerful messages across the landscape of the entire
community. Responsible in 1994 for the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce's definitive second level domain address of
orlando.org. Graduated from Florida State University in 1987 with a B.S. in Economics,
after completing the majority of his undergraduate education at Macalester College in St. Paul,
Minnesota, where he played NCAA Division III football and baseball. An impressive list of referrals can be presented upon request.
